So far we have developed science and technology projects for primary aged children in partnership with various organisations, such as:

  • Education Business Partnerships

  • The Construction Industry Training Board

  • City and County Councils

  • National and Local Museums

  • Local Businesses & Careers Services

How do we do that?

All our projects fit in with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1 & 2, and can be tailor made to incorporate information about a particular service or industry. For example we have created a number of projects for the Construction Industry Training Board that stimulate an interest in the Construction Industry and promote a deeper understanding of how the industry works. This helps children to understand how communities develop and gives them an early insight into the wide variety of careers open to them within the construction industry when they leave school.

What does the school get?

Our projects mostly take the form of Interactive Plays, where we perform to a large audience. But this is not ordinary science theatre! We use exciting demonstrations, and lots of audience participation to draw the children into the action. We have 20 years experience in this field, so are able to provide schools with an intelligent, exciting and thought provoking visit. Plus we usually offer online follow-up resources for teachers, which can be tailored to your requirements.

What do you get?

We will develop a brief in partnership with you, along with a timetable for delivery of the project. We can advise on what works best in schools, and provide a vital link between your Business and the Education sector. Outsourcing this kind of project to us can be extremely cost effective, with a school visit starting at £120, and development costs starting from as little as £500. Plus we are both CRB cleared.

Sound interesting? What’s the next step?

  • Just talk to us! We are extremely professional, as well as being creative, flexible and imaginative.
  • We are highly experienced in creating links between business organisations and the education sector.
  • We have an excellent track record of satisfying staff and pupils at the schools we deliver work in, and also the clients we create the work for.
  • See our KS1 and KS2 pages for details of our current projects, along with teacher and pupil comments on the effectiveness of our work.
